We are looking for a Supervisor of Operations to join our Colors team lead a manufacturing team that is quickly growing and responsible for producing high-quality products in a fast-paced, environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coach and develop employees, drive safety and quality initiatives, and help ensure efficient production operations. You will apply your process improvement expertise and work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to solve problems, improve performance, and support a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees while fostering a positive and accountable team culture
  • Apply a continuous improvement and root cause analysis mindset to solve operational challenges, optimize processes, and drive measurable results
  • Manage employee scheduling, attendance, training, performance feedback, and ongoing development
  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and operational goals are achieved
  • Partner with maintenance, planning, quality, and operations teams to address production issues and improve performance
  • Conduct investigations related to safety incidents, quality concerns, and operational challenges while implementing corrective actions
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, product flow, production yields, and completion of required documentation
  • Maintain strong communication across shifts to ensure smooth transitions and consistent execution of expectations

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Progressive manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities, ideally within food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or other highly regulated production environments
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify root causes and opportunities, solve complex operational challenges, and drive sustainable results.  
  • A track record of leading high-performing teams through coaching, accountability, and employee development
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, balancing multiple priorities while making sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across operations, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational excellence, efficiency, safety, and quality
