As a member of the [Group Membership Services team, our Supervisor Membership monitors staff and workflow to ensure timely, high-quality enrollment and billing processing while maintaining performance standards. The role supports members, providers, groups, and internal departments in compliance with State, Federal, and company guidelines – all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Supervisor of Membership would have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 3 years of accounting related experience, preferably in the healthcare industry and demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Skills and Attributes: 

 

  • Proven ability to set team priorities, oversee work outputs and timelines, and manage scheduling, attendance, facilitation, inventory, and issue resolution

  • Experience developing, training, and leading teams across multiple locations or remote settings while establishing productivity, quality, and service standards

  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems and trends, develop solutions, and implement effective action plans

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels, with strong customer service abilities for internal and external stakeholders

  • Knowledge of insurance industry regulations, mandates, and accounts receivable processes

  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize assignments across multiple concurrent projects

  • Background in high-volume processing centers with demonstrated success balancing production demands with quality service and performance management

  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making highly desired

 

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

 

  • Assigns and prioritizes work, sets team goals, coordinates daily activities, and provides regular updates through 1:1 and team meetings

  • Monitors individual and team performance to ensure timely completion of work in accordance with department standards, procedures, and medical policy compliance

  • Ensures full team participation in MTM, URAC, and all compliance requirements while acting as a resource and escalating issues appropriately

  • Participates in hiring, provides ongoing coaching and performance management, writes performance reviews, ensures new hire training completion, and assesses staff development needs

  • Facilitates maintenance of reference manuals, work procedures, and guidelines through the Change Management Committee process

  • Participates on project teams by recommending solutions, translating business requirements, and leading division projects or process improvement initiatives

  • Completes special projects including partnering with project managers to track, analyze, and present data to departmental leadership

  • Ensures accurate and timely billing/reconciliation processing according to company timelines; for Government Programs, manages CMS capitation payment receipt and MSP-based fund reconciliation

The expected hiring range for a Supervisor Membership is $62,900 - $85,100 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 10%. The current full salary range for this role is $59,000 - $97,000. #LI-hybrid
