POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor, Linen Room is responsible in maintaining efficient Linen and Storeroom
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that all goods are received, stored and issued in accordance with the accounting and storeroom procedures
- Conducts regular inspection of all areas of responsibility to make sure instructions are carried out.
- Comes up with expected results and ensures accepted standard of cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation
- Maintain discipline and high morale among staff. Corrects mistakes or inadequacies of the same and recommends disciplinary actions to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper
- Conducts guest request items inventory
- Supervises in the inspection, issuance and storage of guestroom linen
- Supervises the issuance of linen to guest floors during high occupancy
- Works closely with supplies and rooms coordinator
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the Linen Room and Storeroom
- Communicates closely with the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager on any problem related to assigned area
- Charges vouchers for missing linens/transfer requisitions
- Forecast’s usage of guestroom linens/uniforms/supplies
- Ensures working environment adheres to the company’s Policy & Procedure
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in handling Linen/Storeroom in a hotel operation.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent professional training is prefferable
Skills / Competencies
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to move, lift, push ,pull and place objects on frequent basis without assistance
