What You’ll Be Doing:
- Helping lead daily kitchen operations—from food prep to serving—with quality, safety, and heart
- Opening and closing the kitchen, staying on top of supplies, and reducing waste
- Guiding and inspiring a team of food service professionals in a respectful, routine-based environment
- Jumping in to support your team—90% of your day is hands-on and right in the action
- Keeping everything clean, safe, and compliant—from kitchen spaces to checklists and audits
- Creating a positive dining experience with consistent, nourishing meals that feel like home
- Pitching in with food orders, government commodities, and day-to-day kitchen needs
- Handling customer feedback with positivity and purpose

$22.00 per hour
Preferred Qualifications
* High school graduate or equivalent.
* Must be proficient in recipe procedure, cooking techniques.
* Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments.
* Extensive physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, pushing, and pulling.
* Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
- Minimum of 1 year prior experience in food service supervisor role preferred.
- Must be Serv Safe certified or willing to obtain certification within 90-days of entering position.
- Must have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation and proper food handling skills.

- Ability to assess the workflow of the kitchen and make adjustments as needed.
- Ability to delegate tasks to associates and verify completion.
- Ability to evaluate the performance of associates, identify areas of improvement, and provide guidance on corrective actions.

- Maintain a current knowledge of food service sanitation and proper food handling skills.
- Display professional communication skills with client staff and Lintons’ associates
- Ability to use industrial equipment as well as standard kitchen utensils.
- Ability to read and understand menus and recipes.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete and tile floors for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to withstand a wide range of temperatures.
- Proficient in the operation of a personal computer including Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in food service cooking required. Prior experience cooking in contract food service a plus.
