Supervise and support milling operations personnel, ensure production targets, monitor and optimize concentrator processes, inspect equipment and initiate repairs or preventive maintenance, administer safety and regulatory compliance programs, manage labor-contract issues, and provide scheduling, timekeeping, maintenance, purchasing, and warehouse support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Train, supervise, direct, and support work force in their activities to ensure production targets 
  • Monitor the concentrator processes and optimize/determine the proper operating parameters 
  • Inspect the equipment to determine status for repair or PM and initiate appropriate action 
  • Administer Ray Complex Safety Program and insure regulatory compliance 
  • Administer the labor contract and handle all employee issues (grievances/inquiries, etc.) Provide timekeeping, scheduling, WO/maintenance and purchasing/warehouse input/work needed 
Preferred Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Good communication skills. 
  • Must have excellent computer skills with MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel, as well as ability to utilize other software systems. Knowledge of MIMS software. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 
    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
  • High School or General Education Degree (GED) 
  • Five (5) years of job related experience in the milling process
