The Supervisor of Business Planning and Analysis (BP&A) will serve as a lead member of the BP&A Section reporting directly to the Department Head.  This role will support the growth of the business and will deliver impactful analysis to drive business decisions and strategy. This position will also play a key role in partnering with the business to inform strategy and keep management attuned with projected and actual performance and will analyze trends and initiatives.

This is a hybrid role and will have the ability to work from home 2 days per week and in the office 3 days per week .

  • Lead a team of one to two professionals
  • Provide value added analysis and financial insight to business priorities
  • Help create and model budgets and forecasts
  • Review historical financial data to understand business trends
  • Oversee the tracking of performance relative to budgets and forecasts
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency and maximize return on investment
  • Review existing processes and identify viable alternates
  • Help drive financial discipline and financial visibility across the enterprise
  • Assist operating teams in understanding financial statements and budget adherence

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, mathematics, economics or related degree; Master’s Degree, CPCU or CPA a plus
  • 8 + years of progressive financial experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory responsibilities preferred
  • Previous experience in the property and casualty insurance industry a plus
  • Proficiency in leading financial analysis and model building
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner driving decision support across all facets of the business
  • Strategic mindset with ability to deliver results while engaging others through effective relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong influencing skills and change management

The salary range for this role is $109,172 – $126,800.  Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.
