At Enbridge, we are passionate about driving energy conservation and efficiency across various customer sectors. Our Demand Side Management (DSM) group is looking for a dedicated and experienced Supervisor, C&I Program Planning & Implementation, to lead our team and deliver outstanding results.
 

In this role, you will guide and mentor experts in conservation program planning and implementation. Your leadership will ensure that our energy conservation programs are successfully implemented. You will also develop strategic plans, lead third-party delivery agents, and work with external partners. Most importantly, you will help your team achieve both organizational goals and their own professional development.

What You Will Do:
 
Program Delivery and Leadership:

  • Exceed annual delivery targets within allocated budgets.

  • Guide the program planning and implementation team to achieve department goals.
     

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement plans for all C&I Offers and Initiatives.

  • Monitor program progress and implement solutions to improve performance.

  • Collaborate with the Supervisor of C&I Program Innovations on future sector and offer designs, research initiatives, and pilots.
     

Stakeholder Management:

  • Educate and engage with channel partners (e.g., engineers, HVAC, distributors, manufacturers) to actively promote programs.

  • Represent Enbridge at external events, such as conferences and trade shows, and participate as a guest speaker or panelist when required.

  • Facilitate stakeholder information-gathering sessions.

  • Play an active role in developing and leading the Trade Ally Network.
     

Sales Team Support:

  • Lead all aspects of the project approval process in collaboration with Technical Services and Evaluation.

  • Support exception requests on unique and ambitious projects.

  • Help gather and store customer information for future program use and update business intelligence systems as needed.

  • Work with Sales supervisors to develop and lead monthly program performance forecasts and implement strategies to address challenges and opportunities.
     

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with the Technology, Evaluation, and Policy teams to identify and minimize audit-related risks.

  • Work to reduce Free Ridership by continuously improving program offers in collaboration with Sales, Evaluation, Program Innovation, and Strategy teams.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support program evidence gathering and drafting.
     

People Leadership and Development:

  • Collaborate with team members and colleagues to complete work safely, accurately, and on time, while supporting what we value.

  • Work with external partners to design, develop, and implement conservation offers that realize efficiencies.

  • Lead performance, including conducting reviews, coaching, and establishing development plans.

  • Support reporting procedures and measurements relevant to team needs and company expectations.
     

Who You Are:Required:

  • 7+ years’ experience, preferably in the design, delivery, evaluation of energy conservation programs, offers and initiatives

  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Business or Technology.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities including developing people and organizational change

  • Customer and results focused

  • Superior interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license
     

Preferred:

  • Previous direct or indirect people leadership experience.

  • MBA, other relevant Professional Designation
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office Environment

  • Travel, including overnight, mainly within Ontario, may be required but not on a frequent basis

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
