SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:
Provides supervisory leadership and direction to the assigned CBO (Central Business Office) Team. Manages team workload, resources and compliance with Service Level Agreements to ensure CBO activities are executed accurately and efficiently. Ensures adherence to established Sutter policies, government regulations and payer requirements. Assists in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with all external customers to identify additional ways to be of service and ensure customer satisfaction.Job Description:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Deep familiarity with general hospital management principles, practices, and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge/ awareness of all areas related to Payer-specific (Medicare, Medical, Commercial, PPO, HMO, Work Comp, Government Contracted Payers, Self-pay and other third-party payers) Claims and how they interrelate.
- Knowledge of advanced principles, methods, and techniques related to compliant healthcare billing/collections.
- Ability to communicate and work with patients, physicians, associates, sutter health leadership, multiple direct patient care providers and others in order to expedite the patient accounting process. communication skills (verbal and written) in dealing with trainees, associates, and internal/external customers.
- Demonstrates organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service/achieving business results.
- Ability to identify, prioritize, resolve and / or escalate complex problems promptly.

Pay Range is $94,848.00 to $142,272.00 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
