Job Responsibilities 

  • Utilizes appropriate audit concepts and proprietary tools/reports to conduct audit by examining a client’s third party agreements.

  • Identifies variances and/or errors in the procurement and payment processes to recover revenue or uncover other contract non-compliance

  • Understands, manipulates and analyzes client’s electronic data (primarily in Excel, Data Analytics software or Access).

  • Review contracts, agreements, paperwork and electronic documents looking for areas of contract risk (financial and non-financial)

  • Finds, supports, and documents audit and third party operations exceptions.

  • Supports the engagement manager/director in completing program objectives

  • Prepares engagement kick off meetings, client update materials, related reports, etc.

  • Supports new business engagement opportunities

  • Understands and follows overall audit compliance by adhering to specific audit guidelines and meeting audit deadlines.

  • Provides insight and recommendations for process improvements; may work with client to implement and test system enhancements.

  • Provides support for audit team.

  • Contributes to the success of the organization by helping others accomplish job results; learning new skills needed by the team; finding new ways to help the team

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit or related field

  • 3+ years of experience working with 3rd party contracts or internal audit role

  • Experience in supervising Audit staff professionals

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to research and analyze technical issues independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to teach and train others

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Engagement
