About Family & Children’s Place

At Family & Children’s Place, our mission is to protect, nurture, and support children and families to build stronger, safer communities. We envision a future with safe children, supported families, and strong communities.

Position Overview

This role coordinates and facilitates court-ordered supervised visits between children and their parents or caregivers, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

This position works closely with the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) and directly with children, birth parents, foster parents, and caregivers. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and families in a human services setting
  • Experience working with trauma-impacted populations preferred
  • Understanding of child development and family dynamics, particularly within the foster care system
  • Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and objective in high-stress situations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work in home-based settings, including high-risk communities
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a background check and maintain an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (including children and car seats)
