Together we fight for everyone’s opportunity for a better financial future.
We will do this together — with customers, partners and colleagues. We will fight for others, not against: We will stand up for and champion everyone’s access to opportunities. The status quo is not good enough … we believe every individual and every community deserves access to financial opportunities. We are determined to support both individuals and communities in reaching a better financial future. We know that reaching this future depends on our actions today.
Like our Purpose Statement, Voya believes in being bold and committed to action. We are committed to a work environment where the differences that we are born with — and those we acquire throughout our lives — are understood, valued and intentionally pursued. We believe that our employees own our culture and have a responsibility to foster an environment where we all feel comfortable bringing our whole selves to work. Purposefully bringing our differences together to positively influence our culture, serve our clients and enrich our communities is essential to our vision.

Getting to Know the Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help us establish a team that focuses on maintaining a high-quality investment data environment and enhancing the overall data experience for our investment professionals. Success in the Data Management Analyst role requires a strong analytical mentality, the ability to understand exceptions and a willingness to collaborate in a team setting. The importance of data is widely understood at Voya Investment Management (IM) and you will play an important part in moving Voya’s data governance mandate forward. Please Note: This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.
The Contributions You’ll Make:
Daily activities may change, but main responsibilities will include:
-
Collaborate with internal customers, the Business Analysis team and the Information Technology team to assist in the translation of requirements into technical solutions in the data warehouse
-
Document business processes and perform business analysis to support users, downstream systems and clients with validated and accurate source data

As the Data Management Analyst, you are expected to be customer focused and offer unique solutions that deliver on client expectations. In addition, you will need to be thoughtful in analyzing data and problem solving exceptions to formulate effective solutions. How you get to a solution is just as important, if not more so, than the solution itself. In this role, you will be exposed to new ways of thinking and acquire new skills.

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, information systems or related field
-
Basic understanding of various investment instruments (Fixed Income Securities, Derivatives, Equities and Senior Loans)
