Job Description

The Value Stream Management (VSM) Intern will support strategic and operational activities related to end‑to‑end product and supply chain value streams. This internship provides exposure to how product strategies are developed, executed, and monitored across the product lifecycle, while working closely with cross‑functional teams in a global environment.


Key Responsibilities

Depending on your assignment, you will:

  • Support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the Value Stream Management (VSM) capability across MedTech
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of VSM standards, templates, playbooks, and guidance materials
  • Support Product Strategy Roadmap (PSR) development activities, including data collection, consolidation, and documentation
  • Help prepare dashboards, reports, and visual materials to support VSM Services Dashboard
  • Contribute to VSM workshops, governance forums, and capability enablement activities
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve visibility, and strengthen VSM ways of working
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, Quality, Finance) to support E2E alignment and execution
  • Contribute to documentation, digitalization and continuous improvement of VSM processes, tools, and ways of working to strengthen VSM adoption and scalability

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited College/Institution degree program
  • Undergraduate students: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain or any related field (preferred)
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship
  • Have demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities.
  • Availability to work full-time for the duration of the co-op term, if you are taking classes during the term all courses and coursework must be completed outside of business hours (8am - 5pm, M-F)
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in the medical device industry (preferred)

Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.  Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$23.50/hr to $52.50/hr

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The expected pay range for this position is between $23.50 per hour and $52.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
