We are looking for a Demand Planning trainee in Business Area Cartonboard with an office location preferably in Helsinki, Oulu, Inkeroinen (Finland) or Fors (Sweden). The employment duration will be about 4-5 months, starting from the beginning of May.
About the role
As a Demand Planning trainee you will have responsibilities in demand planning and operative sales quota maintenance for the Business Area’s mill business units. You will be working as part of the BA Supply Chain and Master Planning in tight collaboration with Customer Service, Product & Sales organization and other key stakeholders in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). Great analytical skills and interest to leverage data for business decision making processes support your success in this role. However, it’s clear communication and teamwork skills that really makes the difference as you will be working with many stakeholders and attending to related meetings. In this job you will get also opportunity to learn and participate in development of the tools and processes (e.g. PBI, OMP, statistical forecasting) used in demand planning as well as provide us valuable insights for further development needs. This is a very international role and you get to collaborate with our global sales network.
About you:
- You are studying or you have recently accomplished a degree in a relevant field (e.g. industrial engineering, supply chain management, economics)
- You are highly analytical, agile and have a transparent approach – your analytical skills are proven by e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt
- You have good communication and teamwork skills
- You are passionate for understanding planning processes and making them easy for you and others around you
- You are eager in adapting to different and new technologies
- You have fluency in English, working knowledge of Finnish and Swedish are considered as an advantage
- Experience in roles in sales, demand planning, supply chain or operations are considered as an advantage
- Experience in tools for demand planning, quota/customer allocation management and data visualization (PBI) are considered as an advantage
