Apply for a hands-on internship with the Markets business at Citi. As a Citi sales and trading Markets Intern you will gain exposure to fast paced and dynamic financial markets and contribute to real-time trading and sales tasks.

Our sales and traders come from an array of university background from STEM to Commerce, to Arts and Law. Citi Markets offers the widest array of products from vanilla to exotic instruments and derivatives. Our products and services include, but are not limited to:

• Foreign exchange (FX) 
• Fixed income 
• Equity and commodity products 
• Treasury Trading 
• Financing Solutions 

The 10-week Summer Analyst Program in Sydney, providing you exposure to:

• In-depth classroom style training and education on a variety of Markets Products & fundamentals.
• Senior leadership and on-desk work experience; working with the best and brightest on the trading floor.
• 1:1 support from a mentor and buddy who will help guide you on the program and show you the ropes.
• Formal and informal networking work social events including cohort catch ups and lunch & learn sessions.
• Pitching a presentation to your mentors and the senior leadership team at the end of the program.

We want to hear from you, if you:

• Are a results-oriented, driven student with second to none passion for markets!
• Have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Have a strong worth ethic, willingness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast moving and dynamic environment.   
• Are a penultimate or final year student pursuing an Undergraduate/Master’s degree in Australia or New Zealand
• Are a student with strong academic record from all disciplines, including but not limited to Commerce, Finance, STEM, Actuarial & Law.
• Have demonstrated strong leadership; teamwork; and interpersonal skills through extra-curriculum activity.
