POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for matters related to the co-invest entities investing alongside the private equity and private debt funds. Specifically, responsibilities would include:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounting and Reporting
- Account for daily activity in Investran, both the general ledger system and the portfolio accounting system
- Assist in preparation of quarterly financial statements and capital allocations
- Assist in preparation and reconciliation of individual investor reports on a quarterly basis
- Prepare weekly report of investment and cash activity to management
Cash Management
- Monitor and track cash inflows and outflows, and reconcile cash on a daily basis
- Assist in preparation and coordination of capital calls from and distributions to co-investors on a monthly basis
Other
- Work with legal and compliance groups in preparing legal documentation for commitments to co-invest funds
- Maintain online and physical filing systems
SKILLS
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Professional individual with solid communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize several tasks at one time and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to interact with Senior Management
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Accounting and/or Finance
- Anticipated graduation date of May or June 2026
- GPA 3.5+
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, etc.
- Background in accounting information systems a plus
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
LOCATION: Boston, MA. This position is in the office 3 days/week. These in-office requirements may be adjusted based on the needs of the business.
