Why This Role Matters
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring our materials, parts, and assemblies are accurately tracked and available to support manufacturing and engineering activities.
This role offers direct exposure to how inventory data, physical material flow, and a newly implemented manufacturing execution system come together to support real production. You will be directly involved and contributing to our production operations.
What You'll Do
You’ll work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to support day-to-day inventory control and system accuracy.
- Support inventory management activities including receiving, stocking, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to ensure materials are available and correctly issues to jobs.
- Aid with maintaining accurate inventory records within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Assist with transaction execution in the MES system (receipts, issues, transfers, work order consumption).
- Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
- Assist with documentation of inventory processes and standard work.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Interest in manufacturing, inventory control, and operational processes
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to work with systems and data
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow standardized processes
- Willingness to spend time on the production floor and in a warehouse environment
Additional Requirements:
- Able to work full time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in Mid May- Mid June 2027
- 6+ months of a previous internship, co-op, or academic project experience outside of normal classes
- GPA of 3.5 or above
- Basic experience with CAD Software, MATLAB, Python, or Excel
- Real resume building engineering experience
