The Credit Intelligence Team provides actionable insights to the Credit team, Banking leaders and the Executive leadership team. We provide up to date analysis of the national economy, financial markets, regional economies and industries with an emphasis on markets where Western Alliance focuses. This analysis includes scenario assessment and analysis for accounting credit losses calculations, capital stress testing, interest rate risk assessments and liquidity stress testing. Western Alliance has a wide array of specialty markets; the Credit Intelligence team helps Bank leadership integrate the economic and market data to make informed decisions for our institution.

In this paid internship, you’ll be empowered to work on challenging and complex issues in a collaborative environment with other talented interns. Over the 10-week program, you’ll participate in business projects, mentoring, leadership development training and team-building activities designed to set you up for professional success. The summer Internship program runs June through August, with flexible dates available, based on school schedules. What you'll need:
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a related field of study.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
- An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
- To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
