Dive deep into the world of physical security threats with Nationwide's Threat Analysis team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to identify, analyze, and predict potential vulnerabilities and physical security risks to our assets and associates. You'll gain critical skills in intelligence gathering and contribute to proactive defense strategies that protects our enterprise.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze security trends and emerging threats to inform defensive strategies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk profiling.
• Support the collection and interpretation of threat intelligence data.
• Assist in developing predictive models for potential security breaches.
• Collaborate on reports summarizing threat landscapes and recommended mitigations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Criminal Justice, National Security Studies, International Relations, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in research tools and methodologies; experience with data analysis software, social media or open-source intelligence platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrated interest in corporate security, geopolitical affairs, and risk management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, sensitive environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program. At its sole discretion, Nationwide determines whether to offer sponsorship for qualifying positions based on business need and budget. However, it is not usually available for entry level roles.
