Summer 2026 Internship: Strategic Finance

QTS' summer internship program will provide you first hand experience into the fast paced world of the data center industry by providing weekly lunch and learns, a comprehensive orientation program, and site based activities, socials and volunteering events. Every intern will be assigned initiatives tied to real QTS objectives helping with anything pertaining to the whole life-cycle of a data center build and/or company operations.

The Strategic Finance Intern will be fully immersed in the "day in the life" of a corporate Strategic Financial Analyst/Strategist. While working across multiple projects, your responsibilities can include but aren't limited to:

Strategic Finance & Capital Markets Intern:

• Prepare monthly reporting dashboards for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

• Develop strategic presentation materials for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

• Assist in maintaining QTS’s long-term financial model with inputs from various departments.

• Support strategic finance reporting, analysis, and model building needs ad-hoc

• Regularly interact with executive leadership and members of Blackstone.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Real Estate, Strategic Finance, or similar

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be a US Citizen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school:

  • Auburn University

  • Kansas State University

  • Georgia State University

  • Southern Adventist University

  • Texas A&M University

  • University of Kansas

• Previous internship or co-op experience in Construction, Finance, Technology, or related industries.

• MS Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment).
