RN and Rad Tech Fellowship Program : A Transition-to-Practice ProgramMemorial Hermann Health System realizes that Rad Techs are diverse and part of their professional growth, development and interest is learning new areas of clinical practice. This Program was created to provide a structured, comprehensive path for currently licensed, Rad Techs to learn and train to deliver quality care in a new specialty practice area. The Fellowship Program provides a structured framework in which rad techs learn and professionally develop to deliver quality care in a new specialty.Job Description
The Memorial Hermann RN & Rad Tech Fellowship Program is the preferred track for RNs and Rad Techs transitioning to a new specialty area (considered new to practice).
Eligibility & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
