Performs radiography and potentially complex imaging exams to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Prepares and positions patients, records vital signs and patient data, administers IV contrast when needed, ensures radiation safety and image quality, and performs radiology equipment quality assurance. The role also supports accreditation activities, reports incidents and equipment issues, handles emergency calls, and may assist with registration, insurance verification, payments, and drug screening.
