About the role
Pixelogic is looking for an experienced English-to-Korean in-house QC editors to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration with teams around the globe with the goal of servicing our clients’ end-to-end projects.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the creation and QC review of Korean subtitle files
- Maintain quality standards with accuracy and speed and adhere to style guidelines and project-specific instructions.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Must be punctual, dependable and flexible, and possess a team attitude and willingness to adapt to last-minute changes to programming and industry.
- Manage assignments on a pro-active basis and escalate issues to management.
- Misc. tasks assigned by Senior Management
- Collaborate with the translation team to address language-specific queries and provide constructive feedback.
- Review scripts, translations, final product upon completion to ensure the highest possible technical/linguistic standards.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.

- 번역 팀과 협업하여 언어 관련 이슈를 해결하고 건설적인 피드백 제공
- 최종 산출물의 기술적·언어적 완성도를 보장하기 위해 스크립트, 번역본 및 최종 결과물 검토
- 민감한 콘텐츠에 대한 기밀 유지
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Korean, linguistics and language study majors and/or Entertainment and Media
- Minimum of 2 years of Korean subtitle creation and proofreading experience required
- Knowledge of professional scripting, and subtitling software highly desirable
- Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiasm to get things done
- Excellent reading skills, spelling/vocabulary, and grammar
- Ability to follow technical/style guide for multiple client content types
- Must be residing in South Korea
