We are seeking Substitute Teachers that will provide in-person instruction to students in our Middle and Upper Schools. As a Substitute Teacher at Latin, you should bring capability to teach and supervise multiple grade levels and establish effective working relationships with students of all ages, as well as faculty, staff, administration, and parents. School hours are 7:45 am-3:45 pm.
- Implement lesson plans left by lead classroom teacher
- Apply appropriate instructional methods for meeting lesson objectives
- Utilize and manage classroom technology
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation: $170 per day
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior division specific teaching experience
- Classroom management skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible and extremely flexible
Physical requirements include: ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., speak clearly so listeners understand, see details of people and objects more than a few feet away.
