Job Posting Title:Substitute - Preschool Assistant - BASE
Job Description:Responsible for providing classroom assistance in the preschool program as well as some clerical support. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Occasional lifting, five (5) to fifty (50) pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and sitting
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities:
Interact appropriately with parents and other staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Provide daily assistance to the teacher in the classroom by working with typical and special needs children in small and whole group settings.
Provide clerical support in a variety of functions.
Perform toileting duties and life skill instruction.
Prepare, adapt, arrange, and maintain preschool materials.
Maintain data collection regarding student progress/performance, including confidential reports and information.
Certifications:First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association

Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First Aid and CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
