The role of SUBROGATION RECOVERY REPRESENTATIVE is a claims technical role requiring prior claims or subrogation experience to identify legal liability, and pursues, negotiates, and settles subrogation claims in various lines of business. This is an interactive position requiring understanding of the claims handled to answer inquiries, coordinate with other departments, insurance adjustors, clients, and attorneys.
Primary Duties include but are not limited to:
- Investigation, negotiation, and recovery of first party Automobile, Property or Workers’ Compensation claim losses.
- Ability to negotiate within parameters of client authorization, and file arbitration or refer matters to subrogation counsel when necessary.
Skills & Requirements:
- Superior organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication
- Excellent computer skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling Automobile liability, General Liability, or subrogation, as a claims representative working for either an insurance company or TPA.
- Excellent understanding of claims terminologies, litigation management, negotiation, and arbitration
- Must be able to recognize liability and effectively negotiate a recovery settlement.
Starting salary range:
- $50,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

- Full-Time (M-Th, 7:45am-5:00pm – Fri 7:45am-3:00pm)
- This is a full-time opportunity; however, considerations may be made for qualified candidates able work part-time during business hours.
