Purpose of Job :

Must be outrageously dependable, highly organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. Work must comply with pre-press and printing standards. Along with large-scale projects such as application guides and manuals, Studio Artists will implement quick revisions to match an ET’s and/or Art Director's requests. You are expected to pursue continuous improvement both professionally and personally.

Job Components :

• Build mechanicals, preflight projects, and handle image manipulation that meet pre-press and printing standards  
  • Production (32 hrs per week): 80%
  • Design - internal messaging only (5 hrs per week): 12%
  • Project/time tracking (2 hrs per week): 6%
  • Training: 1 hr per week: 2%

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Advertising, Graphic Design or equivalent training is required
• Minimum of three years relevant work experience in an advertising or corporate environment
• EXPERTS in all facets of Adobe In-Design – including keyboard commands.
• able to use Photoshop efficiently to cut out images, color-correct and retouch images

Work Environment :

• Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 10+ lbs.
• May be exposed to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone.
