Student Part-time Virtualization - VMware/OpenShift (all humans)

We are looking for a working student or intern to support our virtualization team. In this role, you will assist with the operation and support of virtualization platforms while gaining hands-on experience in VMware and/or OpenShift environments.

What to do:

• Support Level 2 engineers in daily operations of virtualization platforms.

• Assist with troubleshooting issues in VMware or OpenShift environments.

• Help monitor system performance and availability.

• Support maintenance and improvement of virtualized infrastructures.

• Contribute to automation tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

• Document processes and support activities.

• Work with internal teams to resolve technical issues.

• Participate in operational support tasks as needed.

You check these boxes:

• Basic knowledge of VMware virtualization or OpenShift Virtualization.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (virtualization, storage, networking).

• Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.

• Knowledge of Git is highly appreciated.

• Status of University student in Slovakia, availability to work 20 hours per week.

• Ongoing studies in IT, computer science, or a related field.

• Initial experience through coursework, labs, or internships is beneficial.
