Job Responsibilities:

Join our automotive manufacturing team and help us create a safe, healthy and sustainable working environment. We are looking for an EHS Engineer who will support the development of our safety culture, ensure compliance with legal and corporate EHS requirements, and work closely with production, management and support teams to continuously improve our Environmental, Health & Safety management systems.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Implement, maintain and continuously improve Environmental, Health & Safety management systems in line with legal and corporate requirements.
  • Cooperate with production, management and cross-functional teams on EHS-related activities and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain EHS procedures, work instructions and other documentation.
  • Plan and deliver EHS, Fire Protection and Environmental training for employees, contractors and management.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and identify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support internal, customer and certification audits (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949).
  • Coordinate occupational health activities, including preventive medical examinations and employee health programs.
  • Review new projects, machinery and chemical substances from an EHS perspective.
  • Prepare EHS reports, statistics and presentations for management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support 5S implementation and help strengthen the company's safety culture.
What are we looking for?
  • University degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
  • Active English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Good understanding of EHS legislation and occupational health & safety principles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach, attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
It will be an advantage if you have:
  • Previous experience in an EHS, Health & Safety or Environmental role, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Occupational Safety Technician certification.
  • Internal Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001.
  • Experience with risk assessments, EHS training and audit preparation.
