Role description:

You will join our Structural Engineering team in the Arcadis Iasi or Bucharest office, part of the GEC Mobility, where our projects and development opportunities can fit various ambitions from structural engineering, 3D modeling and parametric design to Operate & Maintain digital methods. The delivery is secured through global collaboration platforms like ACC, which allows engineers across various offices to work together seamlessly while maintaining clear visibility for our clients.

Role accountabilities:

• Responsible for the implementation, management and delivery of BIM models on projects at a Business Unit Level.
• Responsible for managing technical aspects of BIM production for projects or components of major projects.
• Work in collaboration with other design disciplines applying BIM solutions to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis BIM standards and national BIM standards.
• Provide technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project.
• Manage the production of, and quality assure BIM deliverables to ensure that they meet or exceed client expectations. 
• Work collaboratively with all design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution.
• Keep up to date with developments in the industry sector and with technical and legislative developments and seek out opportunities to develop a strong professional profile.
• Coach and guide involved employees with the implementation and application of BIM processes and models.
• Knowledge sharing with others, team working spirit. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 3-4 years experience in designing concrete and steel structures, including reinforcement detailing and bills of quantities.
•  Experience in BIM environments, including model coordination, creation of custom families/templates, and understanding of workflows and construction sequencing.
• Proficient in BIM and structural software/tools used for modeling, detailing, and production.
• Proven experience in delivering structural projects (e.g. buildings, bridges, retaining walls, or similar elements), from design to execution.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and interest in continuous learning, innovation, and automation.
• Ability to guide/check team members' work, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in technical English.
