What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will analyze workforce transformation data and analytics, conduct current state assessments, and help design future state recommendations to evolve the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Chief Human Capital Officer’s workforce support. The Consultant will provide input on assessment findings and recommendations to enhance workforce support throughout DHS.

The Consultant must have the following experience:

  • Conducting current state assessments and gap analyses.

  • Formulating recommendations to address findings.

  • Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Creating compelling briefings and presentations to present findings to clients.

  • Creating communications materials

  • Supporting stakeholder interviews and analyses

  • Supporting the development of reports and presentations summarizing the outputs of quantitative and qualitative assessments and analyses

  • Preparing for internal and external stakeholder discussions

  • Executing project tasks/outputs under the direction of a Lead  

  • Supporting the development comprehensive plans to implement program goals, meet requirements, and keep resources on track

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in strategy, workforce transformation, and/or process improvement, including THREE (3) years of management consulting experience.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications

  • Experience consulting for the federal government

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal

  • Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships

  • Experience working in DHS

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
