As a Strategic Workforce Development Senior Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for establishing and leading Fab15's Strategic Workforce Development organization to strengthen workforce readiness as a strategic capability for future site expansion and business growth. You will partner with Site Leadership, HR, Operations, functional leaders, and AI teams to integrate workforce analytics, capability development, leadership development, knowledge management, and workforce planning into a cohesive operating model. This role will drive capability-based workforce planning, talent mapping, succession readiness, and strategic learning initiatives that enable Fab15 to build a future-ready workforce.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Workforce Strategy and Organizational Leadership
Develop and execute Fab15's Strategic Workforce Development strategy aligned with future business needs, site expansion priorities, and long-term workforce requirements. Establish SWD governance, operating mechanisms, success metrics, and management routines to ensure accountability and sustained execution.
Capability-Based Workforce Planning
Establish capability-driven workforce planning, readiness monitoring, talent mapping, and succession frameworks that enable proactive workforce decisions and reduce critical capability risk.
Leadership and Capability Development
Lead workforce capability, leadership development, manager capability, and strategic learning initiatives, including MBPS and other site-level capability programs that improve organizational effectiveness.
Stakeholder Partnership and Change Execution
Partner with Site Leadership, HR, Operations, functional leaders, and external partners to align workforce strategy with business execution and drive adoption of new workforce practices.
AI-Enabled Workforce Transformation
Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to improve workforce planning, capability assessment, knowledge management, and data-driven decision making across the SWD organization.
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, Organizational Development, Learning, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.• 8+ years of experience in workforce development, organizational development, HR strategy, talent management, learning, operations strategy, workforce planning, or a related discipline.• Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives or large-scale organizational capability programs.• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions through data, insights, and structured recommendations.• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, establish governance, manage priorities, and execute through ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications: • Semiconductor, manufacturing, technology, or high-complexity operations experience.• Experience with workforce analytics, skills taxonomy, talent mapping, succession planning, or capability-based workforce planning.• Experience applying AI, automation, or digital analytics to workforce or organizational decision making.• Experience building new organizations, operating models, or center-of-excellence capabilities.
