Summary:
In this role, you will lead communications for high-priority enterprise business activities, including strategic transactions, enterprise performance reporting, financial communications, and business transformation initiatives. You will partner with leaders across corporate development, finance, strategy, legal, human resources, public relations, and communications to translate complex business information into clear, credible, and audience-specific messaging. You will shape enterprise narratives that reinforce strategic growth, financial discipline, client-owner value, and organizational performance while supporting sensitive and high-impact business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead communications strategy and execution for acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, partnerships, and other strategic transactions.
- Develop messaging strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, communication timelines, and channel recommendations for high-priority business initiatives.
- Draft transaction and integration communications, including announcements, leader messages, FAQs, client communications, Day 1 materials, and post-close updates.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure communications are accurate, timely, aligned, and appropriately managed for risk and confidentiality.
- Manage the communications process for board reporting, including narrative development, review coordination, approvals, and finalization.
- Develop enterprise performance narratives that communicate strategic progress, business results, risks, opportunities, and organizational priorities.
- Draft executive communications and supporting materials for financial reporting activities and enterprise performance discussions.
- Create key messages, briefing materials, Q&A documents, and proof points that reinforce enterprise value, financial discipline, strategic growth, and client-owner impact.
- Develop and maintain enterprise messaging frameworks, templates, and communication tools that improve consistency, efficiency, and governance.
- Translate complex financial, strategic, legal, and operational information into clear and compelling communications for diverse audiences.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to interpret enterprise performance, strategy, and financial results.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, strategic partnerships, or other sensitive enterprise initiatives.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex business information into clear, credible, and audience-specific messaging.
- Strong project management skills in deadline-driven and cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated judgment and discretion when managing confidential or sensitive information.
- healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups and leadership teams.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
