As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. Collaborate with stakeholders and manage supplier relationships. You will report directly to our Director Strategic Sourcing, and you’ll work out of our Prague, Czechia location on a Hybrid work schedule.

- Define Supplier Segmentation and Growth, Maintain and Exit suppliers for the region and coordinate actions with Global Strategy Integration team to execute this strategy year over year.
- Rationalize supplier portfolio and identify risk areas: subsequently adapt strategy within its commodity and define dual sourcing and transition required. Select Honeywell's future suppliers across the globe to support our future development: outsourcing or offset.
- Implement contracts with all suppliers to drive productivity and meet yearly AOP (Annual Operating plan).
- Implement Multi years plans (STRAP) through contract penetration to increase year over year productivity.
- Reach yearly productivity target established through various actions: transition / negotiation / Value Engineering.
- Create opportunities within the portfolio of suppliers to achieve productivity targets and also implement / develop new technology through strategic agreement where applicable.
- Create a pipeline of new Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) opportunities in combination of extending the payment terms to increase companies cash flow.
- Create vision and strategy to achieve innovations and technological advances that improve quality, reduce flow-time, improve productivity, and enhance operational surety.
- Assure adequate support services are provided by other organizations such as Honeywell production sites located across the Globe, with primary units in Olomouc, Yeovil and Raunheim.
- Ensure full adherence to all Companies compliance rules and regulations.
- Degree in Economics, Business, or Mechanical Engineering; Bc. or Ing. qualification preferred.
- 4+ years of direct or indirect sourcing experience in a corporate environment, ideally within the aerospace sector.
- Hands-on experience with direct commodities such as sheet metal, castings, forgings, machining, assemblies, raw materials, bearings, electronics, and related categories.
- Proven tactical and strategic sourcing experience, including negotiation of terms and conditions, contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Availability to travel to our suppliers in UK and across Europe (about 25%)
- Experience supporting successful new product transitions, including alignment with internal and external stakeholders and securing required approvals.
- Fluent English at C1 level, including commercial and technical communication; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
