Develops and drives sourcing strategies for an assigned region and/or business unit and/or category portfolio. Works with key business unit and sourcing partners to define and implement strategies for sourcing materials, equipment and services. Leads or participates in cross-functional teams to develop requirements and strategy to identify suppliers, establish service level agreements and key performance indicator requirements, and monitors performance consistent with established goals and performance measures. Evaluates, negotiates, develops and leads complex or strategic supplier relationships to secure contractual terms that are in the company's best interest.
Leads sourcing projects requiring strong communication and project management skills to coordinate with internal partners and external third parties.
Solves a broad range of sourcing-related problems of varying scope and complexity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Role will be require to work in India afternoon and evening shifts to support Sourcing Engagement for Americas region. You should have prior procurement experience in running RFP’s/Contract Negotiations for Work Place services including capital projects, Professional Services, MRO and other indirect procurement categories in US region.

• Lead RFx’s, bid analysis, purchasing strategies, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, contract processing and etc.

• Draft, negotiate & lead the finalization of complex agreements, including developing the negotiation strategies.

• Ensure compliance to all Agilent policies including Agilent’s Expense Policy; NAW Policy; IT Risk assessment, Sourcing Engagement policy etc. Ensure all contracts are accurately executed in accordance with company policies & uploaded into Agilent’s contract database.

• Engage with Business stakeholders on a regular basis to plan sourcing, contracting and procurement activities for current as well as future requirements.

• Direct and conduct bid/quote collection and contracting activities, utilizing E-sourcing software as appropriate.

• Nurture and strengthen relationships with suppliers, internal partners, affiliates and professional organizations to bring maximum value to Agilent. You must be a Creative, influential, unselfish problem solver & a Collaborative teammate

• Supervise expiring contracts to develop pro-active plans for renewal/RFP’s.

Qualifications

• B-Tech; MBA or equivalent with directly relevant experience. CPSM, C.P.M., C.C.M. and related certifications highly preferred

• Strong Business Acumen and analytical skills

• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in strategic sourcing processes

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to conduct data analysis

• Strong negotiations skills with demonstrated knowledge of key contractual terms and conditions

• Ability to work independently.
