As a Sourcing Manager, you will have a strong understanding of NPI project management activities, including the end to end project management process in a fast paced, complex business environment. You will lead a team of project management colleagues, working on high-impact NPI rojects that move the business forward. You will help your direct and cross functional team meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of NPI projects, and support your team to prepare reports for senior leadership
regarding the status and project of the project.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates the operational and strategy creation aspects of NPI sourcing projects
- Partners with Commodity managers to create strategy and drive NPI projects to completion
- Reviews status of NPI projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
- Assesses NPI project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring NPI project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers
- Manage and direct teams to monitor NPI project plans, manage issues and risks, and prioritize activities within projects and across initiatives
- Drive the development of integrated NPI project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy
YOU MUST HAVE
- Undergraduate degree and significant experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement and some experience in leading projects and team leadership/managing direct or indirect reports
