Job Purpose:
Our Sourcing Manager leads a Sourcing team responsible for supporting day-to-day, customer-driven sourcing requests aligned to sales execution and margin protection. This role ensures consistent application of sourcing strategy while developing talent, accelerating cycle time, driving disciplined execution across sourcing workflows and providing strategic guidance to sales teams.Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain standardized workflows, approval matrices, and documentation for deal desk operations.Lead initiatives to automate and improve processes, reducing cycle times and enhancing visibility.
Review sourcing analytics, scenario modeling, and cost structures to support informed decision‑making.
Provide data-driven insights on deal performance, pricing trends, and win/loss analysis.
Maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as deal velocity, margin improvement, and compliance adherence.
Conduct post-mortem reviews for closed deals to identify improvement opportunities.
Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to streamline deal execution.
Lead, coach, and develop a team supporting local and regional sales teams on customer pricing requests, sourcing exceptions, and fulfillment needs.
Build a high-performing, service-oriented team with strong working knowledge of products, suppliers, and market dynamics.
Set clear expectations around responsiveness, quality, and commercial judgment; actively manage workload and prioritization.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, pricing, or commercial experience with experience leading Deal Desk team, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations roles preferred.
- Partner with Sales to shape sourcing strategies, supplier positioning, and pricing scenarios for key deals.
- Experience with large-scale RFPs and strategic sourcing processes.
- Proficiency in CRM and CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce, Deal Manager) and familiarity with ERP and pricing optimization tools
- Ensure sourcing solutions are competitive, margin‑accretive, operationally executable, and aligned with supply chain strategy
- Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
Support Strategic Sourcing and Category Management teams in aligning vendor negotiations with customer proposals.
Work Experience:
● 5-10 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.● Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:
