Egypt Education Platform is looking for a knowledgeable and strategic Strategic & Sourcing Associate Manager to join our procurement team. In this key role, you will lead procurement initiatives, oversee supplier management, and ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services that support our educational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services.
- Manage the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance.
- Evaluate supplier performance through regular assessments, managing relationships to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and drive procurement efficiency.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, ensuring compliance and tracking spend against targets.
- Oversee and implement best practices in procurement processes, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a proven record of strategic sourcing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizations.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
