This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes
How you will contribute
You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

What you need to know about this position:
The Sourcing Manager - Marketing Agencies is a member of the AMEA (Asia, Middle East & Africa) Marketing Agencies Procurement team, which is part of the Global Marketing & Sales Procurement organization.
The role is an individual contributor role. It reports into the Sr. Sourcing Manager - Marketing Services, who leads the AMEA Marketing Services Procurement team.
This role is in charge of:
- strategic sourcing for all Marketing Services (e.g. advertising/creative services, advertising production, brand PR, influencer marketing services, endorsements, brand activation, insights & analytics) for 1 or 2 Mondelēz Business Units (BUs) preferably MENAP & 1 or 2 regional category responsibility out of entire Mktg Services scope
- coordination of strategic sourcing initiatives at AMEA level for a given type of Marketing Services

- Supplier relationship and performance management.
- Internal stakeholder management.
- Deliver on annual targets on savings and cash-flow improvement.
- Understand Mondelēz current and future business needs in assigned BUs and translate them into deliverables for this role and overall, for the Procurement function.
- Lead/contribute to industry analyses and supplier analyses as required.
- Lead implementation of global/regional sourcing initiatives in the assigned BUs.
- Lead local sourcing initiatives and negotiations as required.
- Put contracts in place.
- Ensure compliance with Mondelēz policies.
Education / Certifications:
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing of Services, ideally Marketing Services.
- Master or Post-Graduate Degree, ideally in Business Administration or any related field.
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum 7-9 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing roles.
- Multiple years of experience in managing suppliers.
- Multiple years of experience in partnering with and influencing senior internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in a multinational (ideally global) and multicultural environment.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with different functions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
