What We Do

The Strategic Relations Representative builds relationships with real estate brokers, brokerages, and other industry partners. A big part of the job is understanding the local real estate market: which brokers are growing, which offices may be open to new title relationships, where referral patterns are shifting, and where we have an opportunity to make a meaningful connection. This is not a desk-only role. The right person will be comfortable making calls, setting meetings, attending events, visiting offices, asking good questions, and following up consistently. They will help identify real estate professionals who may be a good fit for our attorney agents, then help start those conversations in a thoughtful and professional way. The goal is to build trusted relationships that lead to new business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Meeting with real estate brokers and brokerage leaders to learn about their business and where opportunities may exist.
  • Researching brokers and brokerages to understand who their industry partners are in the real estate transaction and whether there may be an opening for a new relationship.
  • Creating introductions between strong real estate professionals and attorney agents when there is a good business fit.
  • Staying active in the real estate and legal communities through one-on-one meetings, networking events, association meetings, office visits, and community events.
  • Working with attorney sales representatives and attorney agents to build relationship plans, identify targets, and coordinate follow-up.
  • Tracking conversations, next steps, and opportunities in our CRM so relationships continue moving forward.

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

The best person for this role is curious, outgoing, organized, and comfortable starting conversations with people they may not know yet. They know how to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and spot opportunities. They are good at follow-up and understand that relationships are built over time, not in one meeting.

This person should enjoy being out in the market, learning the players, connecting dots, and helping others grow their business. They should be self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently while still staying closely connected with the internal team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent job-related experience required.

  • Comfortable making calls, setting meetings, attending events, and building new relationships.
  • Strong research, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
