Based upon the input from the Purchasing Process and Supplier Forecast & Material Management and accordingly to the Replenishment Process, continuously secure the availability of material according to requirements from both internal and external customers.

The position / About the Job:
- Ensure our capacity needs of our suppliers
- Communicate material requirements and product specifics to our suppliers
- Place and secure delivery of purchase orders
- In case of deviations, limit the deviation and carry out corrective measures
- Supplier Payment approvals
- Support the handshake process
- Focus and track daily results related to the three defined purchasing milestones (quality, delivery, cost)
- Be active at Cell Status Board meetings
- Be active in problem solving and other improvement activities
- Suggest improvements in Instructions / SOP's
- Always consider the possibility of eliminating waste
- Engage in safety and quality work and immediately call TM/UM when problems or risks arise
- Take responsibility for their own development and to stay informed
- Forecast & logic-based planning
- Supplier audits & visits if necessary
- Importing goods for local assembly

Qualifications and experience:
- B.E/B. Tech with 3-5 years of experience/ Diploma with 6-8 years of experience in domain
- Knowledge of PPAP, SQE and supplier development is mandatory
- Lean Six Sigma qualified
- Good understanding and hands-on exposure in fabrication & machining
- Deep knowledge of the ERP system
- English in both speech and writing
- Supply Chain Understanding
