As a Strategic Procurement Manager – Cooling Appliances, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers for our global cooler and vending machine category. You will take ownership of the full procurement process, from selecting suppliers to negotiating contracts, while ensuring strong performance, quality, and sustainability across our global supply base.
Job DescriptionSUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
You will select, onboard, and develop suppliers within the Cooling Appliances category, making sure they meet our quality, cost, and performance expectations. You will regularly review supplier performance, identify improvement opportunities, and address any risks early on. You will also promote sustainable practices within your supplier base and ensure long-term, reliable partnerships.
STRATEGIC & TACTICAL PROCUREMENT
You will plan and execute sourcing activities, including running tenders, comparing suppliers, and negotiating contracts and pricing. Your goal is to find the best balance between cost, quality, and reliability. You will work closely with suppliers to secure strong agreements and support ongoing business needs.
CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
You will manage and continuously improve the Cooling Appliances category by analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities to optimize sourcing. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure that sourcing strategies are aligned with business needs and implemented effectively.
ESG & COMPLIANCE
You will ensure that suppliers follow required environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. This includes staying up to date with regulations and making sure these requirements are included in supplier agreements and processes. You will help reduce risks and support responsible business practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus)
2–4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management
Experience working in an international or fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP (MM/S4); SAP Ariba is a plus
Technical understanding of products (experience with cooling appliances is a plus)
Fluent in English; German is a plus
Additional InformationDue to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.362 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
