As a Strategic Pricing Director, you will be crucial in developing and executing innovative pricing strategies for large-scale new business opportunities across the Federal Government. Collaborating closely with capture, technical, operations, and other functional teams, you will align pricing strategies with customer requirements and competitive market dynamics. Your leadership will guide the financial and pricing decision-making process, helping to develop and validate robust business models and strategies across multiple technology markets and contract structures.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Lead proposal pricing teams and manage the full pricing lifecycle for large-scale proposals (>$500M) including complex technology and product-based bids.
• Interface with executive management and closely collaborate with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal Teams to develop winning price strategies, resolve issues, implement solutions, and provide expert guidance.
• Oversee strategy execution and implementation, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and market conditions.

 

Pricing Strategy Development:
• Develop comprehensive pricing analyses, integrate competitive intelligence and market research to optimize pricing strategies, and support robust business case and risk assessments.
• Work with solution teams to integrate technical strategies, value propositions, trade-off analyses, and tactical implementation throughout the proposal process.
• Engage with Government stakeholders early in the acquisition process to help shape requirements.

 

Team and Proposal Management:
• Foster collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and objectives.
• Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance pricing processes and outcomes.
• Develop compliant and compelling Cost/Price volumes to reflect CACI’s solution and RFP requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 12+ years of experience in the US Federal Government space, with a strong track record in competitive pricing strategy and price volume development.
• Substantial experience supporting alternative acquisition mechanisms such as Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs) and Commercial Solutions Openings (CSOs).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Advanced expertise in pricing strategy principles, financial management concepts, and proposal price development.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and financial acumen skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, interfacing with stakeholders at all levels.
• US Citizen, and ability to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance
• Ability to work out of Reston, VA as needed.

 

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience developing commercial pricing for hardware and software solutions.
• Experience maturing price models from prototype/pilot to formal service offerings.
• Experience developing Price to Win (PTW) analysis.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Local candidate to Reston, VA, is highly desired for hybrid work.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$126,000-$277,100
