Strategic Marketing Program Manager

Why We Have This Role

We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Marketing Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and management of key marketing programs across multiple functions, including Field & Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and more. This role will require collaboration with various departments to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that integrate all activities to achieve collective goals.

  • Foster Growth: Embraces a growth mindset by taking on challenges that extend beyond comfort zones, mentoring team members, and advocating for their developmental needs.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment: Works to create consensus among collaborators and stakeholders, clearly distinguishing essential components from optional ones to enhance project efficiency and impact.

How You’ll Grow

  • Manage global projects that involve different regions and countries, helping you work with diverse teams and tackle international challenges.
  • Oversee the end-to-end the process for priority projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources for marketing and brand campaigns 

Things You’ll Do

  • Develop and refine the program and project management processes within the marketing team, fostering a culture of best practices, continuous improvement, and professional development in program management methodologies.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing initiatives that align all marketing activities across teams, improving overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Increase accountability and coordination by defining clear goals and milestones for each program, implementing measures to analyze and optimize effectiveness, leading to better performance tracking.
  • Strengthen partnerships across internal and external teams by establishing and maintaining relationships with partners, vendors, and marketing service providers to improve program execution and resource efficiency.
  • Create visibility and improved communication by regularly updating senior management on program progress and outcomes, highlighting contributions to overall business goals for increased transparency and support.
  • Mitigate risks by identifying potential blockers and issues early on and implementing strategies for mitigation to ensure projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
  • Effectively prioritize activities, set deadlines with contributors, and ensure timely achievement of all project milestones, enhancing the quality and delivery of marketing materials.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • 5-12 years of relevant experience in project or program management
  • Experience or background in marketing preferred
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Wrike, Workfront, Coda)
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align marketing projects with overall business objectives and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills capable of translating complex ideas into clear communication for stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, setting measurable goals, and adjusting strategies based on insights to drive decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience in motivating and guiding team members while fostering a collaborative environment and resolving conflicts.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to managing challenges and adapting to fast-paced marketing environments.
