About the job
The Strategic Marketing Partner and Insights Manager (SMPI) is responsible for creating business value through revenue generation activities, brand positioning, and driving seamless customer experience across Energy Division (ED). Reporting to the Head of Marketing - North America, the SMPI is an integral part of a collaborative team.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Richmond, VA or Houston, TX.
As a part of the team, you will:
Drive deep business partnership and optimize the business agenda for dedicated BU’s
Drive sales funnel development with customer acquisition and growth opportunities through campaigns, sales enablement, events, product launches and channel partner support
Position Alfa Laval as the NA leader in areas where we choose to participate through events, industry groups and trade associations, public affairs and thought leadership
Drive business optimization and growth in existing markets with key stakeholders through market studies, market size & share, prioritization and business planning
Initiate and drive identification of growth spaces, emerging markets and whitespace opportunities with strategy development, analysis and action planning/launch
Drive the strategic business planning process across the division, including planning, launch and execution while managing and supporting major milestones
Plan and execute market and competitive analysis based on BU priorities
Own and drive VoC for focus BU’s and the Energy division
Develop insights into macroeconomic and industry growth to anticipate trends or threats to the business
Initiate and lead collaboration with other excellence areas to ensure alignment of priorities with strategic business plan and insights
What you know:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Data Science or a related field with at least 5 years of professional working experience in marketing roles and:
Demonstrated experience developing marketing strategy and action plans based on business strategy
Experience successfully identifying opportunities, proposing innovative ideas, and initiating projects that positively impacted marketing outcomes. Consistently challenging the status quo to drive growth and strategic excellence.
Experience in strategic business and marketing planning
Experience in data analytics and insights
Experience in finding patterns in data, building visualization and reports, and communicating insights to stakeholders.
Creative, forward-thinking self-starter with attention to detail
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different areas.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills
Strong leader with the ability to oversee, coordinate tasks, and influence members of the marketing division to complete strategic plans

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The base salary for this role is typically $102,000 - $120,000 annually.
