The GPS Marketing and Engagement team is crucial in growing Fidelity International's business, enhancing our brand, and shaping our reputation. We focus on creating world class customer and client experiences alongside client-centric marketing programs which support the revenue targets and sales strategies of our businesses and in turn build Fidelity’s brand in the market.  

 

About your role  

 
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of innovative strategic campaigns that are critical to driving business growth and elevating brand visibility. This role entails a close collaboration with cross-functional teams, encompassing marketing, distribution, sales, and investment management, to craft compelling and impactful marketing initiatives.  

 

Your position will require strategic thinking and an understanding of marketing principles and campaign management. Your responsibilities will include:  

 

  • Implementing a comprehensive strategic marketing plan that aligns seamlessly with the GPS marketing and Engagement teams priorities and goals so that all teams execute aligned and integrated marketing plans. Ensuring all plans are aligned against key target audiences, commercial priorities and built leveraging prioritised customer insights to drive effective campaigns 

  • Assisting with the execution of integrated strategic campaigns across a variety of channels such as digital, social media, print, events, and PR will be a core part of your role. These strategic campaigns will need to align with the brand’s positioning and messaging to ensure coherence and effectiveness. 

  • Supporting the Head of Strategic Marketing to collaborate with the Head of Strategic Sales, Head of Retirement and Lifetime Engagement Marketing and Personal Finance & Markets Content Teams to define the marketing value proposition” to enhance customer value strengthening reasons to apply, engage with marketing and keep accessing our digital platforms.  

  • In Brand Management, you’ll support the Head of Strategic Marketing with defining the strategic role Brand Marketing needs to fulfil within the UK. This will include leveraging brand research sources, measuring and monitoring brand performance, and maintaining a brand voice that is consistent across all channels, touchpoints and customer segments.  

  • You'll help to drive brand awareness and enhance brand perception through carefully curated marketing initiatives. You’ll act as a brand guardian for GPS, ensuring all marketing activities resonate with and reinforces the brand’s core values and messaging, and marketing communications uphold the brand's integrity and distinctiveness. 

  • You’ll support in establishing the GPS Promotion Principles built on improving ROI efficiency and oversee the GPS UK Promotions Strategy, collaborating with the teams tasked with driving growth from prospects and existing customers to drive commercially optimised outcomes 

 

A significant aspect of your role will be to collaborate with internal teams, in particular the GPS Marketing and Engagement as well as working closely with external agencies.  

Furthermore, your role will involve leveraging market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. As well as leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics with stakeholders to measure the effectiveness and ROI of strategic campaigns. Analysing data and generating reports to evaluate campaign performance will be fundamental in optimising strategies and driving continuous improvement. 

This role will require a mindset that is flexible and open-minded, comfortable with being able to operate fluently in cross functional business teams as the norm. The operating model envisages high levels of delegation to define approach and delivery of end-to-end activities against agreed outcomes and KPIs. 

 

About you 

 

Experience as a marketing practitioner with a proven marketing track record across consumer audiences. 

Robust general knowledge of the consumer and client industry/market, products, and audiences relevant to the GPS business. 

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility and style to build respect and trust at all levels along with a culturally sensitive approach. 

In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, trends, and best practices across multiple channels.  

Experience in developing and executing integrated client marketing and engagement campaigns across digital, social media, print, events, and PR. 

Good understanding of market research and consumer insights to drive targeted marketing strategies. 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. 

Experience of working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, dynamic environment is essential. 

Ability to work with remote/international teams to meet joint goals. 

Results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns. 

Budget management skills and experience in optimizing marketing spend. 

Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms.
