We’re developing open weight foundation models for individuals, agents, enterprises, and even nation states. Our team of AI researchers and company builders come from DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Brain, Meta, Character.AI, Anthropic and beyond.
Role Overview
As a Strategic Finance Manager, you'll help build the core muscles of our capital allocation, forecasting, and planning processes. You'll work across the business — spanning GTM, compute, R&D, and corporate finance — building models and analyses that inform how we allocate resources, evaluate opportunities, and plan for growth. The work will vary depending on where you focus, but the common thread is connecting ground-level business activity to rigorous financial thinking.
What You'll Do
Build financial models across a range of contexts — deals and partnerships, product and channel economics, cost structures, and investment decisions
Support the corporate financial model with bottoms-up inputs, and maintain that connection as the underlying business evolves
Partner cross-functionally — with sales, GTM, engineering, research, and finance leadership — to translate business activity into financial frameworks
Develop cost and investment models (compute, infrastructure, headcount, R&D) to inform resource planning and tradeoff decisions
Identify financial risks and opportunities early, and help structure decisions that balance growth with returns
Improve the templates, assumptions libraries, and processes used across the team
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A at a high-growth technology company, management consulting, investment banking, or similar
Strong financial modeling skills – build clean, auditable models from scratch
Experience with deal economics, revenue modeling, or commercial finance at a technology company
Comfort with cost-side modeling: you understand how compute, headcount, and infrastructure costs behave
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, GTM, engineering, research, and finance leadership without losing rigor
Comfortable with ambiguity: takes initiative, operates independently, and brings structure and curiosity to open-ended problems.

Reflection was founded by former DeepMind and OpenAI researchers to build superintelligent coding agents. We previously built the most powerful LLM (ChatGPT, Gemini) and agent (AlphaGo, AlphaZero) systems in the world. Reflection’s mission is to build superhuman coding agents. Today’s language models are powerful, but they fall short when it comes to tasks that require acting over many steps. The reason is simple. These models were never trained for autonomy. Our goal is to create the most capable and reliable coding agents in the world. Our product is a Coding Agent API that helps automate rote engineering work.
