As Strategic Assistant to the CFO, you will provide ongoing strategic support to the CFO, and the finance leadership team, as well as independently lead projects across a variety of areas. You will be instrumental in driving the CFO agenda, facilitating decision-making processes, streamlining communication channels, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the CFO’s office.

Major Accountabilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads and prepares the strategic agenda formation for key meetings and manages follow-ups.

  • Lead and manage coordination for executive presentations to FLT, SLT, BoD, external events and other bodies. Research and develop content.

  • Act as a delegate for the CFO in key external and internal stakeholder events.

  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, coordinating activities across departments to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic goals.

  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution and successful outcomes

  • Act on CFO’s office tasks as requested, and all other ad hoc strategic projects as needed.

  • Ability to anticipate and prioritize subject to ongoing matters; comfortable to act without clear guidance

  • Handling and treatment of sensitive information in the appropriate manner

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements

  • BA / BS Required, MBA or respective education preferred

  • 5-10 years experience in consulting through one or more of the leading consulting firms.

  • Proven capability to effectively communicate and collaborate across a global, matrixed organization.

  • Strong and proven project management skills, certified in Six Sigma or Lean Strategies desired

  • Excellent communication and synthesis skills, verbal and written with strong analytical capability and judgement; ability to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions

  • Critical and strategic thinker with solutions-oriented mindset

  • Exceedingly agile and able to continually re-prioritize in fast paced environment

  • Good judgement, maturity and poise to enable interaction at all levels

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Exceptional values & behaviours with quality, compliance, and accountability focus
