The S.A.M will be responsible for assisting in the strategic development of sales proposals and/or plans with account executives for agency and/or client deals. They will work across all media platforms to create proposals, execute, and steward campaigns. Will focus on both pre and post sales with a customer-first approach. Will focus on all aspects of both linear and digital to optimize campaigns to ensure delivery.
Responsibilities Include:
- Create strategic cross-platform plans that maximize the portfolio and meet agency and/or client objectives.
- Works closely with Account Executives to understand customer goals and design programs that deliver results.
- Create Ad Sales media plans with pricing and planning support and direction as well as inventory and yield management to create the most effective package.
- Review all IO's to ensure they match approved media plan.
- Track individual client delivery. Work closely on inventory for digital campaigns to pace client goals.
- Foster key relationships with clients and agency contacts
- Work closely with Ad Operations on timing, optimization and execution of campaigns.
- Provide post summaries of account delivery
- Be digital expert on WWLP Sales Team. Train team on new products and offerings.
- Work with sales managers to prepare roll out, launch and execution of new products, sales initiatives, and or procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
- Significant knowledge of the local digital marketing services product offering and effective use for clients
- Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment
- Effective communication and client presentation skills
- Ability to interact with high-level decision makers
- Ability to execute in an organization through collaboration and a consultative process
- Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
- Meaningful contribution in sales meetings on digital marketing topics (ex. best practice sharing, industry trends)
- Be an effective partner with the market's sales team in generating digital revenue
- 3+ years’ experience in media
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage client expectations
- Solutions-oriented customer service focus that emphasizes driving sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; team player
- Annual Salary $55,000, Commission and Bonus
