As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be the main contact between our accommodation partners and Agoda, with the responsibility of nurturing the relationship with our key supply partners and driving mutual growth. A key responsibility in developing our business is the ability to identify and acquire new sources of supply and product offerings within an assigned territory while maintaining existing relationships. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who combines analytical rigor, relationship excellence, and an innovation mindset to drive long-term success.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Engage and influence C-level stakeholders through co-developed Joint Business Plans and data-driven insights.
- Apply strategic and project management skills to define business questions, diagnose challenges and deliver actionable solutions.
- Leverage AI tools and data analytics to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and increase operational efficiency.
- Proactively resolve partner issues, ensuring timely escalation to the correct internal or external stakeholders, and follow through to resolution.
- Partner cross-functionally to identify Agoda’s key opportunities in product, operations, and collaboration, and advocate for impactful changes.
- Develop long lasting relationships with key hotel partners to enable Agoda’s growth in the region
- Analyze large datasets to propose tailor-made solutions to Agoda’s hotel partners
- Deliver on country KPIs, growth targets and country strategic initiatives
- Support the Area Manager in preparing country reporting for senior stakeholders
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and/or account management.
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence both external / internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to build and sustain executive level partnerships that drive measurable business results.
- Excellent project-management and stakeholder-management skills, with a hands-on, results oriented approach.
- Strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and willingness to experiment and move fast.
- Strong Proficiency in English & Chinese
It’s Great if you have:
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Experience in Travel industry
