About the Role
As a Strategic Account Manager at Trend AI, you will manage and grow strategic relationships across Government accounts in Thailand — including ministries, state enterprises, and other public sector organisations. You will be at the forefront of our mission to protect organisations in an AI-powered world, acting as a trusted advisor, a commercial driver, and the face of Trend AI to some of the most important institutions in the country.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role for a seasoned sales professional who thrives on building deep partnerships, navigating complex public sector environments, and delivering results that matter — to the nation's institutions and to the business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary account lead for assigned major Government accounts, acting as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity strategy and national digital resilience
- Build deep, multi-level relationships across IT, security, and procurement teams up to senior leadership, understanding agency priorities, policy mandates, and long-term digital transformation goals
- Translate agency challenges and compliance requirements into compelling, tailored Trend AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for public services
- Proactively identify and drive new opportunities within the account portfolio, balancing relationship depth with sharp commercial instincts and an understanding of government budget and procurement cycles
- Navigate government procurement processes, tenders, and RFPs, ensuring Trend AI is positioned effectively at every stage
- Partner with resellers and Global System Integrators with established government relationships to expand reach and accelerate deal cycles
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Technical, Regional Account Managers, and Marketing teams
- Maintain a disciplined and accurate forecast using Salesforce and Trend AI's sales tools
- Stay current on government cybersecurity policy, regulatory frameworks (such as Thailand's Cybersecurity Act and PDPA), the competitive landscape, and Trend AI's evolving product and solution portfolio
Secondary Responsibilities
- Represent Trend AI at government and industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars
- Support the planning and execution of marketing and promotional programmes targeted at the public sector
- Ensure all relevant account information is documented and maintained in Salesforce
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise account management within IT or cybersecurity, with direct exposure to government or public sector accounts in Thailand
- Proven track record of managing and growing government accounts with consistent quota attainment
- Hands-on experience selling cybersecurity, networking, or IT solutions, with strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and government procurement practices
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders within government agencies and state enterprises
- Familiarity with Thailand's government tender/procurement processes and relevant regulatory bodies
- Good knowledge of virtualisation and cloud-based security solutions preferred
